Every piece is handmade, which means each one is a little different. That's part of the charm, and what makes buying handmade so cool.
I want you to love your piece, and I'll do my best to make things right if something goes wrong.
Returns & Refunds
Because of the handmade nature of my work, our sales are final. I don't offer returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse, small variations in shape or glaze, or changes of heart. However, if your piece arrives damaged or there's an issue with your order, I've got you.
If your piece arrives broken...
Please email me at info@chaneybyersceramics.com within 3 days of delivery with:
- A clear photo of the damage
- A photo of the box and packaging
- Your order number or name
If the damage is due to shipping, I'll work with you to either: Send a replacement (if it's a repeatable item), or Issue a refund (if it was one-of-a-kind).
I may also file a claim with the shipping carrier so your photos help with that.
Custom Work
Custom pieces are made just for you, based on your preferences. For that reason, custom orders are non-refundable unless damaged in shipping. I'll stay in touch with progress photos along the way to make sure we're on the same page.

Each order is packed with care using bubble wrap, eco-friendly fillers, and sturdy boxes. I want your piece to arrive safe and sound. I typically ship within 5-7 business days All packages come with tracking I do not currently offer international shipping Shipping Damage Protocol I strongly recommend you open and inspect your piece upon arrival. If something's broken, see the section above on "If your piece arrives broken."
